It's a "Bunny Affair" GiveAway!

Do you have a "Design Mentor"?
Without a doubt, Bunny Williams is my Inspiration.  I have always admired her style, her sense of the Traditional ...  and how she keeps it fresh, NEVER boring or stale.

And her gracious ways that seem to draw me into her interior spaces.

For Christmas I received this,

But here's the deal.  I already own a copy.  Now, I have read this book over and over and over again.  It is dog-eared from use, I practically know every room in it by heart, and I wouldn't want it any other way!

Some of my favorite rooms ...

Bunny has lived in this house for over 30 years.  I understand the longevity and how the house is such a part of her.

I got to meet her last year ... DreamDay!!

For one reason or another, the longest I have never lived in a house is for 12 years.

Just when I feel the basics are covered and the fun is ready to happen ... I've started a new adventure.

I don't know how long we'll be at Peckham Hill but I am Starting the Affair!

And here's the FUN ... My Gift to YOU!

In celebration of HOME and Spring peeking around the corner, I'd rather share the love and send it to YOU than tromp to the Post Office just to return it to Amazon!

It might be fun to explore all our Inspiration!

And you'll be entered ... Winner announced on March 14!

Making the World More Beautiful. One Room at a Time.

  1. Count me in! I would love to win her book. I actually don't have many decorator books and I'd love to build my collection. She is an icon and I want to read behind the scenes. I look to all the 'greats' for inspiration like Jan Showers and Ana Cordiero, Frank Randolph, Melanie Turner, Darryl Carter, Loi Thai..the list goes on. xo Nancy

  2. Love Bunny, Kelly, Kate, Ralph.. too many to name. I love all types of design. Have always admired this book but never pulled the trigger! Love your blog. thanks for the chance. Kathy

  3. Aw, this one's easy. Imagine if your design mentor was your best friend. Or better yet, a member of your family. Sis-in-law Cathy Wall (Room Rx) has been guiding my steps -- and looking past my missteps -- for the past 25 years. Her great design advice paired with my penchant for DIY has led to a fulfilling (and productive!) relationship.

  4. Oh what a generous giveaway. I would love to get to know more about Bunny.
My mentor's are Kenneth Brown and I adore Loi from Tone on Tone!

  5. Yey for us! Thank you Kim for this great give-away! My design mentor rather idol is Victoria Hagaan and Candice Olson - yup a mix of clean and over-the top goes well for me!!!!! You know I follow you already!

  6. I would love to win, too! Tough question about my design mentor.... I really like Bunny Williams' work. I also dig Albert Hadley. So many others, but great food for thought!

  7. I would love to win. I love Kishani Perara, Kelly Werstler, Nate Berkus plus so many more!

  8. I love Bunny and would love her book! I couldn't pick just one but I love Sister Parish, Miles Redd and Anna Spiro.

  9. Yikes! There is no way to decide on one designer. I love Bunny, Meg Braff, Katie Ridder, Tilton Fenwick, Miles Redd...the list would go on and on. And I also love collecting their books, so thanks for this opportunity! :)

  10. I have borrowed and read this book but would love to own it! Bunny is definitely one of my favorites.

  11. Can't pick just one designer so I'll say Mary MacDonald, Brian Gluckstein and Barbara Barry. Of course, I already follow you (who wouldn't?!?!?) xo

  12. I read this and LOVED it!! Don't put me in the contest, but how fun for you. I would have loved to meet her, too.

  13. I would love Bunny's book! It is so hard to pick just one designer...Nicky Haslam, Alessandra Branca, Mario Buatta.

  14. This is one of my favorite books - no need to enter me to win since it is on my bookshelf! Some day I hope to convert our barn into an inviting living space like Bunny has. Hope to see you soon, Kim!
